Portopalo is a seaside village famous for its fishing fleet and for being the southernmost town in Italy. It is located on the promontory of Capo Passero, surrounded by two enticing islands, that of Capo Passero dominated by the ancient fortress and the Isola delle Correnti, next to the beautiful beach of Carratois.
